Opened in 1912, the Zoo offers multiple exhibits including a gorilla, ring-tailed lemurs, ocelots, cotton-top tamarins, pigmy hippo, anaconda, giant anteater, Baird’s tapir, white crested hornbills, fruit bats and mandrills. A diverse collection of birds along with Franklin Farm - a farmyard neighborhood experience are popular along with Butterfly Landing, a large seasonal experience with hundreds of butterflies, breeding hummingbirds, ducks and turtles.
